Eat For Beauty DC’s 3 Core Food Values

Energetic Hygiene

Cleanliness and clarity of energy, regardless of what form it takes.
All that we interact with: people, places, media, food and even clothing has an energetic state and quality that we may or may not align with.
We find, specifically with food, that it helps to be mindful of its energetic history and current state. We often say “your food has an aura”. The energy that is in your food (or that you yourself pour into your food) travels into your body and being.

Bio-Individuality

The concept of everyone having their own unique and personal relationship with food with individualized preferences and dynamics based on everything from cultural influences, body composition, cell structure, and simply how foods make you feel. Everyone is equipped to use self-acceptance and clear intuition to guide and acquire foods and all other forms of consumption that is best for them at that moment.

Although we promote The Living Foods Lifestyle there is not one way, the way is YOUR way.
Coined by Joshua Rosenthal, Founder and Director of The Institute for Integrative Nutrition

Biochemical Peace

A state of homeostasis in the organ system, reflected in the neuro-transactions of the mind.
Where Earth’s energy is free to enter and charge all of our cells with Bio-Electricity needed to function with agility. When the organ system is at peace, our minds can be calm and receptive allowing us to embody our Highest-Self with most ease. When the organs are in conflict or in lack of enzymes (carriers of Bio-Electricity), our minds tend to enter a vicious cycle of being on survival-mode and being bombarded with thought and emotion activity that takes us out of presence. The more sensitive we become to our bodies, the more we can develop self-compassion and in turn have more compassion for others and the Earth.

What is candida?

Candida is a genus of yeasts that normally lives inside the body and on the skin. There are hundreds of these yeasts, but many species can cause fungal infections if their numbers grow out of control or if they enter the bloodstream or other organs, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Why this recipe?

Combining citrus with non-starchy vegetables and a healthy fat reduces over-production of candida yeast in the body.
