Join us — Saturday, September 25, 2021 for our first fundraiser dinner supporting BIPOC food access in the DMV!
About this event
Harvest is the time of culmination, where the fullness of the seasons converge with intentionally sharing space with chosen kin. We would like you to join us in our celebration of the Earth’s abundance, and the collective manifestation that is our community. This event will help us raise funds towards direct support for our Plantita Power community and our upcoming outreach efforts for Trans-Visbility Awareness Month.
This is a communal dinner and celebration for the BIPOC community only.
We will be sharing dinner and beverages starting at 5:30pm until 9:00pm, in the outdoor patio space, located at Femme Fatale DC. We desire for this event to be as safe as possible for our marginalized community and request that the space be reserved for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color only. For our supporters who exist outside of these demographics, we invite you to purchase a ticket for a BIPOC community member or make a cash donation with us.
While safely sharing space in community, we will be creating a Collective Altar that each person present can be apart of, as well as a Manifestation Poster with Plantitas activity throughout the event. Together we can envision, create, and celebrate a world where we are in harmony with the Earth and each other.
Please note, there will be two set times for the event to enable us to safely gather while taking precautions. The first session will be from 5:30pm - 7:00pm while the second one will take place from 7:30pm - 9:00pm. The Altar and Manifestation Poster with Plantitas activities will be taken place during both sessions with food and beverages. Everyone will receive a seedling to take home.
We can’t wait for you to join in community and celebration for this fall’s Harvest!
