Jungle in the City: The Path of Aya

  • Femme Fatale DC 3409 Connecticut Avenue Northwest Washington, DC, 20008 United States (map)

We are gathering at Femme Fatale DC to introduce our community to Ayahuasca & the 5 plant doctors (Bobinsana, Chullachaki, Marosa, Chiric Sanango, Noya Rao) of the jungle while paying homage to the wonderful traditions that blessed us with this knowledge.

This is a safe space to learn, honor, and to develop a relationship with powerful plant spirits that aid us in coming home, returning to soul & to learn more in depth about Ayahuasca ceremonies.

We begin with a short film on ayahuasca, followed with a Q&A panel with shipibo-trained maestra, Ka’i Sam’e.

Then, we hold an outdoor smoke bath to cleanse people and administer ceremonial tools like Sananga, Hapé (Rapé), or Mapacho (offered at an additional cost) to further cleanse people’s energetic field.

Then, we move onto a guided plant centered meditation & movement circle where the plants are channeled into the space using Icaros (medicinal songs).

Finally, we close out with a fire ceremony where everyone is to do a soul release, purging what their soul needs to release from this body & invoking what their soul needs to bring into this body.

Please bring a blanket or sheet, a pillow to sit on (optional), and an open mind.

Tickets are $25. Finances should & never will be a barrier though, so if you can’t afford this, you can email (remahaile50@gmail.com) and we’ll sort out a sliding scale fee that honors us all.
