It’s a summer upcycle party! Give new life to your wardrobe at the Mystery Cocktail Happy Hour: Clothing Upcycle Party. Bring some well worn denim or any other textile goods that need an upgrade. It’s a walk-in DIY experience where we’ll have different stations set up across the Femme Fatale DC patio to make your wildest upcycle dreams come true. Local Upcylistas Sarah the Upcycler and Lilly with Relume will guide you through the DIY experience, lending their creative eyes and technical assistance.

Choose your adventure from any/all of the following ~ Patchwork and Fabric Collage ~ Fabric Paint & Stencils ~ Bedazzles ~ Beads/Charms.

You will also have the chance to join Megan Elaine Designs for a jewelry bar pop up to make your own eco-friendly wearable art from upcycled and repurposed materials.

A variety of beads, findings, and tools will be available for your use and Megan will provide hands-on instruction to help bring your vision to life. You can also bring in your own costume jewelry - think single earrings, broken brooches, or beads from an old necklace - for repair or to combine with other materials into a fresh design.
